Zippity
Zippity is 2-3 years young, timid, sweet and good with other dogs. He loves to play in the yard and will need a home with a 6’ non-climbable fence. He is in a foster home near San Antonio, TX.
Cokie
Four year old Cokie was rescued from a TX hunting ranch. She is a beautiful tall girl with stunning eyes. She is good with other dogs, no cats. She is in a home near Houston, TX.
Libby
Libby is only 1.5 years old and already had a litter of pups. Now she is safe with SWESR and the good years can begin. She is in a foster home in the Denver, CO area.
Mabel
Mabel is about 2 years young, very active, good with dogs, and learning about living inside. No cats please. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX.
Chessie
Chessie is about 7 years young and as pretty and sweet as they come. She was rescued from a shelter in UT where she came in as a stray. She is in a foster home in Flagstaff AZ.
Stevie
Ten month old Stevie’s family could not give her what she needs. Now she is with SWESR and an experienced foster near Independence, MO who can provide what a young ES needs.
Rasmus
Rasmus is 6 years young and had multiple homes before making his way to rescue. He gets along with other dogs and the cat in his foster home. Rasmus is in a foster home in Elmdale, KS.
Ike
Ike is an almost 5 year old boy and he is busy outside and cuddly inside. He needs time and supervision with new dogs and is good with inside cats. Furniture privileges are a must. He is in a foster home near San Antonio, TX.
Liam
Liam is an almost 5 year old cutie who was surrendered due to the death of his owner. His activity level is medium for an ES, but he needs a fenced yard as he loves hunting in the yard. He is in a foster home near San Antonio, TX.
Hadrian
Hadrian is 7 years old, calm for a Setter, and very happy to be cared for and loved. Hadrian can’t stop smiling. He is in a foster home in Edmond, OK.
Chipper
Chipper is a sweet, active English Setter/Great Pyrenees mix. He is not a candidate for a home with children or cats. He loves to play with other dogs and needs another active dog in his furever home. He is in a foster home near Austin, TX.
Stella
Sweet little Stella is a 4 year young very busy girl. She is good with other dogs and will be looking for a non-hunting home with 6 foot fences. She is in a foster home in OKC, OK.
TJ
TJ is about 4 yrs young. He is sweet and timid. His owner passed away and he was a kennel/hunting dog but it turns out that hunting is not his thing. TJ would rather be sitting in your lap. TJ is is in a foster home in Oklahoma City, OK.
Garbo
Garbo is a 3 year old cutie who loves other dogs and humans. She is a very active girl that needs a 6′ securely fenced yard.
Johnny and Moira
Johnny and Moira are a bonded pair found running together and no owner could be located. Johnny looked Settery enough so we said yes to both of them. They are in a foster home in Edmond, OK.

Whiskey – Just Rescued
Whiskey is 11 years young and found himself in a CA shelter when his family could no longer take care of him. He’s now a SWESR boy with a previous adopter/foster in NM. Check back for updates!
Mick – Just Rescued
Mick is 8 years young and was rescued from a hunting ranch where he lived in an outside kennel. He’s in a foster home near Dallas/Ft Worth, TX. He’s good with other dogs, cats unknown. Check back for updates!
Lily – Just Rescued
Lily is 4 years young and was rescued from a ranch where she lived in an outside kennel. She’s in a foster home in Mesa, AZ . OK with other dogs with slow intros, cats unknown. Check back for updates!
Rosa – Under Medical Evaluation
Six year young Rosa was rescued from a hunting ranch. She is good with dogs, but not cats. Rosa will be having surgery for a torn ACL. She is in a foster home near Dallas, TX. Check back for updates!
Xava – Just Rescued
Xava is a 4 year old sweetie who was surrendered due to the death of her owner. Her activity level is medium for an ES, but she needs a fenced yard as she loves to run the perimeter of the fence. Xava loves other dogs. Xava is heartworm positive and will be going through heartworm treatment at her foster home near Austin,TX. Check back for updates!

Katy is 3 years young, sweet and about 35 lb. She came to SWESR because she is gun shy. She is undergoing heartworm treatment and will be available in January. Katy is in a foster home near Dallas, TX. Check back for updates!

At 5-7 years young Charles is the perfect age and has a great temperament. He was surrendered to SWESR because his owner did not have a fenced yard and could not care for him. He is in a foster-to-adopt home in OKC, OK.
