TJ

TJ

TJ is 4 years young and a smaller field boy at about 40 lbs. He is a sweet, shy, sensitive Velcro boy. His first owner was a hunter who passed away. Then he went to another hunting kennel where it was determined that TJ is not a hunter and they contacted rescue to find him a non-hunting home as a pet/family member.

TJ is looking for a calmer quiet home. Another active dog for him to run and play with would be ideal and would help him settle into a new home. Since he previously lived in hunting kennels, he’s never been an only dog. A home with kids would be too loud and unpredictable for him. He is affectionate and appreciates cuddles and physical assurances that everything is ok.

TJ needs a home with a secure physically fenced yard that is large enough and interesting for him to run/work/explore/play with another active dog buddy. His foster Dad says “he is lightning fast”. He has a typical prey drive for an field ES and has never lived with cats so we do not expect him to be safe with cats.

TJ has adapted to being a house dog well. He is eager to learn, wants to please and is treat motivated.
