Augie
Augie is a 5 year old Orange Belton ES. He’s sweet and is learning about house training and manners in a foster home near Austin TX.
Phoenix
Phoenix is a 3 year young Llewellen boy that found himself in a horrible situation in Texas. He’s safe now. Phoenix is housetrained, good with people, dogs and cats. This regal boy has a trot like a Tennessee Walker. He’s Velcro and he’d love another playful dog in the home and a person that is home some or most of the day.
Molle
Molle is a 5 year young busy ES girl that was surrendered in Texas after her owner passed away. She is in a foster home in the Hill Country.
Kris
Kris is a 8 year young handsome boy that was left at a shelter in Oklahoma by his previous owner. Kris is in a foster home in Edmond, OK.
Nelson
Nelson is a 3 year young boy who was abandoned in TX and SWESR was contacted by a good Sam to help him. He’s in a foster home in San Antonio and is good with other dogs.
Max – Under Medical Evaluation
Sweet Max will be on Medical Hold for a month or so while he sees a Specialist for a possible liver issue.
Max is 3 years young and ready for his furever home. He came to SWESR because of his love of escaping so he’ll need a home with a secure yard and 6 foot + no climb fencing. Like a typical field ES, we suspect he gets bored outside and mostly wants to be with his people. He loves people, other dogs and has lived with young children. He’s in a foster home in OKC, OK.
TJ
TJ is 6 years young. He is sweet and timid. His owner passed away and he was a kennel/hunting dog but it turns out that hunting is not his thing. TJ would rather be sitting in your lap. TJ is is in a foster home in Oklahoma City, OK.

Joey
Joey is a 9 month old field ES that lived in a kennel before rescue. He’s in TX and in need of a foster that will be patient and train him. He’ll catch up, just give him a chance. He is fearful at first and needs tall, secure fencing.

Luna and Bowie – Just Rescued
Luna (6) and Bowie (8.5) were surrendered by their family in Utah because they are moving abroad and couldn’t take them. They love people and have lived with kids, have never lived with cats. Check back for updates!
Allie – Just Rescued
Allie is a 12 year young big girl who must have had a very physical life before rescue and is now dealing with arthritis issues. But she doesn’t let that stop her from her love of hunting in the large and interesting fenced yard in her TX Hill Country foster home. She is housetrained and great with dogs and cats. Benji – Just Rescued
Benji is a senior (10?) field ES that came from a kennel situation. He is heading to a foster home near Dallas, TX. Check back for updates!
Elle – Under Medical Evaluation
Elle is a busy 1 year old ES youngster that was found as a stray in OK, likely dumped. She’s in a foster home in KS with a previous adopter. Check back for updates!
Bubba – Available Soon
Bubba is a 3 year old typical high energy/prey driven ES boy. He loves people and is good with other dogs. Bubba is heading to a Setter experienced foster home in Buda, TX. He will be available once he completes heartworm treatment in early April. Check back for updates!
Forrest – Under Evaluation
Forrest is a stunning 6 year old boy who was surrendered to SWESR because his family didn’t have time for him. This lucky boy has likely found his furever home in Buda, TX after spending time with our trainer. Check back for updates!
