Willow

Willow

Sweet Willow is a 6 year young field ES with papers who is very loving and eager to please. She was released to SWESR by her owner when his health declined. She loves being outdoors and watching squirrels, birds and butterflies. And she is now a house dog who enjoys her air conditioning and people time too. She enjoys furniture privileges and loves to snuggle. Willow is somewhat timid at first and needs a patient adopter who will give her a few weeks to settle in.

Willow seems to like having a doggy companion but she might be ok as an only dog as long as you are home a lot. She is good on leash and has not shown any interest in escaping a yard with a secure 6′ fence. Because Willow does love the outdoors, it is imperative that she have a secure fenced yard that is at least medium size and Setter interesting to explore. Dare we say that she is “calm” for a 6 year old field ES? Setter people will understand what we mean, and to non-Setter people she would be considered an active dog but not over the top.

Willow has not lived with children or cats and is not a candidate for a hunting home. She is in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area and is looking for a foster to adopt / furever home to love her and continue to teach her about life as a pampered house dog. Willow is spayed, up to date on vaccines, crate trained and housetrained.
