Sloan is a one year old Setter who loves life! He loves being outside and running the fence line. He loves squeaky toys. He even has a favorite blanket he wrestles with every day. Although it took a while, Sloan is now enjoying his foster family’s swimming pool. Sloan is a social Setter who loves being loved and needs adopters who are openly affectionate with their dogs.

Sloan gets along well with his foster family’s dogs and is starting to play with one of them. He is a quick learner who is treat motivated. Sloan is not a candidate for a home with cats. 

Sloan is learning to walk on a leash. He will need plenty of exercise in his new home, running in a Setter-secure yard with at least a 5’ fence and taking energetic walks. One year old Setters are still puppies, and this is definitely the case for Sloan. No children under 7. He is cute, soft, smart, funny, loving, and ready to learn.

Sloan is in a foster home near Austin, TX. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and tests. Are you the forever home he is waiting for?
