Rose

Rose

Sweet Rose is a typical busy Setter girl that is about 10 years young and weighs about 40 lbs. She is Setter-sensitive/soft and independent. She was neglected by her previous person (who passed away and relatives took her to the shelter) so she is currently hanging out in a temp foster home in the Dallas TX area near SWESR’s Advisory Vet.

Rose’s favorite thing is affection and snuggling with her people and she would prefer not to share with other dogs so an only dog home would be ideal for her. She’s fine with other dogs she meets outside of the home on walks, it’s just inside her home where she doesn’t care to share.

She needs a home with a physical fence and would like an interesting yard where she can self-exercise many times a day. She is crate and house trained (with an established routine). She is treat motivated and would love regular walks.

Rose is ready for a Dallas/Frisco or nearby foster, furever foster or adoptive home now. Her vetting should be completed shortly and she could go to a home further away in May.

She has a typical prey drive and activity level of a field ES and your friends that don’t know our breed will think this busy girl is much younger. Like many field ES, she thinks cats are for hunting so no cats inside or outside in her new home. We’ve not had her with children so teenagers only.

Rose will be a perfect companion for a man or woman who is looking for a dog to be your side-kick and BFF.
