Six year young Rosa was retired from a hunting ranch because of an ACL tear. SWESR is pleased to be here for her to get the surgery she needs to run normally again.

Rosa is a happy girl and doesn’t let her hurt leg slow her down much and the surgery is not urgent and can be done at your convenience. 

Rosa has beautiful ticking, pictures don’t do her justice. She is good with other dogs. In the yard she mostly does her thing, like a typical field ES. She could probably coexist with a confident inside cat that does not run but those hiding cats are very suspicious and trigger her prey drive to investigate. She is super sweet with people and will adjust to life inside well. She will need a fenced yard with secure fencing and a person that is home a lot for the surgery recovery. 

Rosa is currently in a foster home near Dallas, TX.
