Mabel

Mabel

Mabel is training for the Olympics. This sweet little two year young girl goes on three walks daily with her foster dad, logging five miles a day. She came into rescue when she decided that hunting was not her thing. She loves other dogs and immediately fit in at daycare where the young dogs will wrestle with her. At home she quickly learned to respect the guidelines her senior fur-sister set.

Mabel is a quick learner, is treat motivated and loves toys, gathering them as if they are her puppies. She is still learning what it is like to live in a house and the TV frightens her so she will leave the room when it is on. Mabel is gaining confidence and working on housetraining. She knows sit, stay and wait and has excellent recall.

Mabel will need a securely fenced yard to exercise and patrol. She is not suitable for a home with cats. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in continuing Mabel’s training, she will reward you with lots of love and entertainment.  She is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX.
