Dustin

Dustin, a Setter or Setter mix, is thought to be about 9-10 years young and came from a mass hoarding situation in CO. Dustin has a sweet and friendly disposition. He gets along great with the resident dogs(3) and does not seem to resource guard. He would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the time. Dustin hangs out near his humans and loves attention and scratches. He walks well on a leash, loves his treats, and is learning how to live in a house. Dustin is in a foster home near Loveland, CO.

Inky

Inky is believed to be about 8 years old and was rescued from a hoarding situation in CO. He is very cuddly with people and appears dog friendly but we have no knowledge about kids or cats. He is in a foster home near Boulder, CO.

Edgar is a shy 6 year young Setter who has lived outside with his mom Almondine his entire life. He is looking for a patient person with lots of love to give. He needs a home without cats and a 6′ fenced yard. Edgar is in a foster home in Edmond, OK.

Established in 2012, Southwest English Setter Rescue (SWESR) is incorporated in Texas and a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.

Our founding members all have many years of experience in English Setter and other animal rescue groups. All of our volunteers share a love for English Setters and an in-depth understanding of this wonderful breed.
