Han was a stray in a town in OK. The shelter and neighbors searched for an owner because surely this achy old boy with arthritis could not have wandered very far. No owner reclaimed him. We suspect he was dumped and the rescue friendly shelter worked to get him to SWESR as quickly as possible. We found his health was neglected for many years. His list of medical treatments included dental with extractions, slow kill treatment for heartworms, treatment for tick disease and intestinal parasites, and medication to ease the pain of a very old knee injury. Thanks to the excellent medical care of SWESR’s Advisory Vet/staff, this old boy is feeling much better.
