Chessie is a sweet and beautiful 7 year old girl who is looking for a forever family to give her the love she craves. She will “lean in” for pets and prefers to be with her people more than with her doggie siblings. She does get along well with the other dogs in her foster home as long as they are not “in her face”. She would also prefer to live with more mature, dog experienced kids in her forever home.

This beauty was a stray rescued from a Utah shelter and is currently being fostered in Arizona. She arrived to lots of snow on the ground and that hasn’t changed in the weeks she has been there. No problem for Chessie, she will still run the yard in typical Setter fashion and roll in the snow. This chestnut girl has a pretty strong prey drive and enjoys watching the birds and squirrels and will require a secure six foot fence. Because of her high prey drive she cannot live in a home with cats.
