Canik is a 2 year young handsome boy that didn’t have much training prior to rescue. He has been very responsive to training in his foster home. He is a sweet, goofy Velcro boy. 

Canik is good with other dogs and is living with cats but it took a couple of weeks of close supervision to correct his interest and integrate him with the cats. He has a moderate energy level. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and will play wrestle/chase with the resident dog. 

Canik will do best in a quiet home and he is not a candidate for hunting. His foster Mom says he will bond quickly with people and will be a loyal lap dog. Furniture privileges are a must for this snuggly boy. He’ll do best in a home with another active dog that is appropriate size/energy level to play with him. 

Canik requires a home with a fenced yard that is at least medium size. He’s not a candidate for an apartment or home without a fenced yard.

Canik is up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. He is in a foster home in Salt Lake City, UT.
