Bowie

Bowie

On-line matching the SWESR way!

Today’s handsome gentleman: BOWIE

Bowie’s vital statistics for your consideration:

Age: A dapper and dandy 9 years old

Fur Coloring:  Chestnut brown with a kiss of cinnamon and maple syrup (he’s very sweet!), and white

Eyes:  Soulful brown, watchful and observant

Pedigree:  Field Setter

Star sign:  The Lover (all day, every day), of belly rubs, exploring the backyard, but most importantly HIS HUMAN!

Education:  Very smart! Knows “sit” and “stay”. Taking continuing education classes including advanced commands and another class learning to walk nicely on a loose leash. Knows how to tell (meal) time! Rings a string of bells with his nose to let you know if he has to go outside to do his business. Bowie is a clever boy.

Ideal Day:  After waking up next to you in bed and receiving morning loves, Bowie enjoys his breakfast and a run around his fenced-in yard to shake off the morning energy. Perhaps then some quiet time sitting next to you on the sofa as you read the paper or watch the morning news on TV. He loves his walks and would enjoy going with you on one. Wherever you are, that is where Bowie wants to be as well. Shopping? He rides well in the car, although he can be anxious if you leave it. Yardwork? Bowie will encourage you all the way. This handsome fellow likes to stay well-groomed, staying relaxed and seated as he is bathed. In the afternoon perhaps you two could work on some training, with verbal encouragement, loving pats and kisses, and edible treats as his reward when he does well. Bowie likes to dance, usually before dinner if it is late in coming. He’s a snuggler and a lover, a real Velcro boy, and he wants to be near you as you close our your day, hopefully together in bed.

Bowie’s Turn Offs:  Being picked up a lot. Hunting. Being left alone. Bowie needs someone who is around more often than not. Allergies (managed well with one pill a day).
