My name is Boone and I’ve had quite an adventure in the short 5 years of my life. I was purchased from a breeder as just a puppy, then in June of 2021 I found myself in a shelter in Utah; seems my owner didn’t want me anymore. A nice lady alerted SWESR of my plight and they stepped in and rescued me for which I am truly grateful. I spent some time with a SWESR rescue partner, then I went to a trainer to see how I did as a bird dog. I was doing really good, until I accidentally lacerated my foot. After recovery, I went to my foster mom where I have two Setter sisters. My foster mom brags that I am extremely sweet and unusually good natured. She also said my obedience is excellent and my recall is real good. I can come on a little strong, so will need slow introductions, but I am looking to find a forever home with another dog to play with or a parent that is home most of the time as I really crave human interaction and pets. I am neutered and up to date on vaccinations. I require a home with a yard that is big enough to run/self exercise and physical fencing that is at least 6 feet tall and no cats in my family, please; also only older children that are dog savvy. I am currently in a foster home in Phoenix, AZ. If you would like to give me a forever home and continue working on my training, I will give you lots of love and entertainment for life.
