Meet stunning 4 year young Sonny! His intended career was “crushed” when there was an accident. He is perfectly fine, just no babies in his future, and now he’s made his way to SWESR. This amazing boy is a descendant of Tekoa Mt Sunrise. He’s good with other dogs, previously lived with children, cats are an unknown but not likely. Sonny is in a foster home in Edmond, OK.

Sweet Sally is an affectionate ES that is almost 2 years old. She made her way to SWESR because she doesn’t have the prey drive to hunt and would rather be a princess. She’s medium/low energy level for a field ES. She’s good with cats and medium/larger dogs with similar temperaments to an ES. Sally is in a foster home in the Dallas area.

Gus is approximately 10 years young and he was a stray in a Utah shelter in a very neglected state. A good Sam got him groomed and all the mats removed. SWESR pulled him and he had an extensive dental with 9 extractions. This sweet, lovable, good with other dogs, senior boy just wants to find his forever home. He is in a foster home in Henderson, NV.

Alwyn is a handsome 8 year young bench ES that found his way to SWESR (with the blessing of his breeder) after his owner passed away. He is house and doggy door trained and good with other dogs, cats unknown. Alwyn is in a foster home near Denver, CO.

Bizzie is 8 years young and 42 lbs. She was rescued from a hunting ranch in TX. She didn’t acknowledge her name and she is one of the most active middle-aged ES girls her foster Mom has fostered, thus the name Bizzie. She’s pretty good with other dogs, but on her terms and space. She likes to sniff one cat and gives the other cat that is dominant with dogs the respect she demands. She’s affectionate with people and melts into you for hugs. She’ll need very secure fencing (4 foot probably ok) and a Setter interesting medium or large yard.

Taco Dogler is one lucky ES youngster! A Good Sam in Idaho found him with a crushed crate on the roadside. An ES rescuer coordinated him going to a foster home in MT. He is good with people and other dogs.

Sampson is the cutest, smartest 8 year young English Setter who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of the daily routine.
He’s fully house-trained, comfortably stays home uncrated for 4–5 hours, and sleeps soundly through the night on his dog bed. Sampson enjoys long walks, car rides (he’s a great co-pilot!), and spending quality time with his humans. He is in a foster home in Park City, UT with other dogs and gets along well, and he continues to grow more confident sharing attention.
Sampson will thrive in a home that enjoys staying active and can provide consistency, companionship, and lots of love. He’s a loyal, engaging companion ready for his next chapter.

Luna is a sweet, beautiful 6 year old Setter who came to SWESR after her owners moved overseas and were unable to take her. She loves people and stuffed toys. She enjoys a medium sized fenced backyard. Luna is a devoted companion and is happiest being with her human.

Bowie is a handsome 9 year old Setter looking for his forever home. He came to SWESR when his previous owners moved overseas and were unable to take him. He needs a medium sized fenced backyard. Bowie is a velcro boy, always wanting to be near his human.

Kali is a 10 month old delightful mix. Her family was going through tough times and not able to give her the home and time she needs. She is sweet, happy, silly, good with dogs and cats. She’s still very much a puppy. People are her preferred companions, she warms up very quickly and loves to give kisses, lots of kisses. She’s in a foster home in Houston.

Augie is a 5 year old Orange Belton ES. He’s sweet and is learning about house training and manners in a foster home near Austin TX.
