Meet Phoenix (Nix), the Velcro Setter Extraordinaire!

At just 3 years old, Phoenix—affectionately called “Nix”—is a stunning English Setter with a heart of gold. Sensitive and sweet, Nix is a certified Velcro boy who thrives on companionship and will stick by your side through thick and thin. His gentle demeanor makes him a perfect fit for a calm household with other dogs and cats. He absolutely needs another active, playful dog to share his adventures with. Because of his history prior to rescue we are looking for a calmer home with no children.

Nix is happiest when he’s galloping across a Setter-friendly yard, and his boundless enthusiasm means a securely fenced yard (5 feet high) is a must. A quick learner with a sharp mind, Nix is highly treat-motivated and eager to please, making him an absolute delight during training sessions. He has mastered the art of cuddling and firmly believes that furniture is for sharing—so furniture privileges are non-negotiable!
