Tori is a precious little 5 year young pocket Setter whose name is a version of Victoria, synonymous with royalty and our little girl is looking for a forever home where she will be treated like the queen she is. She is a dream of a Setter with so many good qualities, it’s hard to list them all. She gets along with all dogs, both large and small, but she is very independent and usually just ignores the other dogs. She is crate trained and house trained and has excellent recall.
She is very birdy and does make the rounds around the fenced yard to check out the birds, but normally she can be found lying under the shade of one of the trees in her foster yard, just bird watching. In the unbearable heat of this Texas summer, she does need to be reminded to come inside frequently, but she rarely complains, rather she finds a cool spot on the tile floor to rest and relax and look out the bay window at the birds. Tori will need at least a 5′ securely fenced yard with shade trees.
After working out and bird watching all day, she looks forward to curling up in your lap or next to you on the furniture, because she is, first and foremost, a people dog. She lived with children briefly in her previous home, but is not cat safe because of her prey drive. She is super sweet and barks only when she wants out or if the other dogs in the house are barking.
Tori is completely vaccinated, spayed, on heartworm and flea prevention. She is currently in a foster home in Crawford, Texas, just West of Waco. Won’t you give this little darling her dream home and love her forever?
