Woo Hoo! From life at a puppy mill to the safety of SWESR, Slade is now ready for the next very important phase of his rescue journey. Slade is 11 months old and still a puppy with much to learn. He is a busy boy who will benefit from another active and doggy social pal in his new home to run with and teach him important life skills. He will need controlled introductions to his new pack.

Slade is very sweet, eager for human attention and very active as you would expect a young field English Setter to be. A home with a secure yard with a physical fence is a must to provide a safe environment to run, explore and learn. He has not lived with cats and cannot be assumed safe with them. He has not lived with kids so only homes with 7+ year old children and very secure gates and doors please. He is learning to walk on leash and a patient and experienced person is needed to continue his progress. 

Slade is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and tests. He is in a foster home near Austin, TX. Are you the hero he is waiting for?
