Make a Donation
Thanks for considering a donation to Southwest English Setter Rescue. We count on the generosity of people like you to allow us to rescue Setters at risk throughout the Southwest.
Our team is made up of unpaid volunteers and 100% of your donation will go to help our rescue dogs. Our adoption fees only cover a portion of a dog’s expenses. The rest of our costs are funded entirely through tax-deductible donations from people like you.
Besides the routine veterinary services we always provide to our rescues (spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, micro-chipping, testing and treatment for parasites) some of our dogs have additional expenses such as heartworm treatment, dental cleaning/extractions or surgery to repair an orthopedic condition. Tick-borne disease and Chagas testing is done for dogs rescued in geographic areas where these diseases are a risk. Your donation means so much, and every little bit helps!
Here are a few ways you can help a rescue dog with your tax-deductible gift:
- $25 One rescue dog’s micro-chip or heartworm test
- $50 A set of vaccinations
- $50 A year of heartworm preventative
- $100 Tick borne disease testing
- $150 Initial vet exam, with parasite testing and vaccinations
- $200 Spay or neuter surgery
- $350 Complete vetting for one healthy rescue dog
- $500 Vetting for special needs (e.g., heartworm treatment)
